A major snow storm blanketed all of the area on December 19th. and 20th. . Station 81 began assembling crews to prepare for an extended operation. the station was staffed from Saturday 08:00 to Sunday 18:00 hrs. The companies maintained the area around the station for access in and out  for emergencys. After the busy day of EMS assists and one reported dwelling fire. The componies bedded down for the night. In the mornings the companies began the task of clearing away snow from the buried fire hydrants in town. The companies were released at 18:00 hrs
